Taber Consultants is proud to again to conduct their drill class for undergraduate/graduate students and industry professionals. Each year professionals from consulting firms and public agencies and students from UC Berkeley and  UC Davis converge upon the Taber Consultants home office for a day of instruction.  Presentations and explanations of drilling and sampling techniques typically used for Geotechnical and Environmental investigations are made to demonstrate the reasoning behind and utility of methods used in the field.
  • Drill Class sign-in on Febraury 23, 2007 will begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. Class goes to ~ 4p.m.
  • Lunch will be provided

Demonstrations will include: 

    • Hollow and Solid Flight Auger Drilling 
    • Rotary Wash Drilling 
    • Electronic Cone Penetrometer Testing (CPT) 
    • Geoproduct Presentations
