| A fully-equipped
geotechnical soils laboratory is maintained at the West Sacramento office.
Typical soils testing for construction-related projects is available during
construction utilizing our portable construction-site trailers. Environmental
soil and groundwater samples are transported to various laboratories certified
by the California Department of Health Services for analyses of chemical
parameters. Equipment is also available for field use in performing classification
and strength tests and for research projects.
Laboratory soil testing capabilities meet requirements of soils-materials evaluation by current geotechnical standards and are illustrated by the following types of tests: |
